Merton Scientific Society, West Wimbledon Society, West Wimbledon Opera Club, Wimbledon Decorative & Fine Arts Society(Widfas) all hold regular meetings; Raynes Park & Wimbledon Public Libraries offer monthly adult reading and drama discussion groups; Lantern Arts Centre is a performance venue which in addition runs classes for children and adults and offers live entertainment every Friday night in the Cafe Studio; Putney Arts Theatre, in addition to the performances and exhibitions listed below, runs courses and hold auditions from time to time. The Wildcare Watch Club for children meets on Wimbledon Common on the first Sunday of each month(January 2nd Sunday).

The Jigsaw Players - a quintet of very talented professional classical string players will be performing
